    A strong foreign policy doesn’t require invading countries. But it shouldn’t include drawing lines in the sand and daring others to cross them (a la Yosemite Sam). Besides, Obama got his invasion creds in Libya.

    When I was at a very bad place in my life I had a job with a bloatedly self-important individual. We shared a large room in his home as an office. I began job hunting when he came in one day, put his bare feet up on his desk, about six feet from my desk, and began putting his socks on, that being the straw that broke the back of the camel of my respect for him. Why does this address to the West Point graduates remind me of that incident?

    ^No, the odds are they’d have nailed bin Laden before he got away to Pakistan. Or at least several years sooner as we wouldn’t have diverted to Iraq.
