I agree in part, and disagree in part. Spraying the SUV with paint is definitely wrong and also counter to the activist’s cause – the driver will continue to drive the SUV, but will probably use harsh chemicals to remove the spray paint. The driver will also feel animosity toward environmental causes and will probably make even less of an effort to be “green” as a result. However, many of us have the attitude that earth is a resource to be amortized during the course of our own lives. If I custom-built a beautiful house for my children and they completely trashed it, I’d be saddened and a bit pissed off. We don’t show the appreciation that we should for God’s wonderful creation.
