I wonder why those who are intent on investigating Obama and Clinton for the Benghazi attacks ignore that Republicans refused to raise the security budget. The Benghazi “mission”, NOT a consulate or embassy, was attacked, and then the CiA outpost was attacked. The mission was protected just as “adequately” as many other State Dept. missions in countries around the world.
A worker and the ambassador died in the first building, a rented house, then two contractors, not SEALS died during the successful evacuation of 34 CIA employees.
That’s a very simple summation, more can be learned from existing documents and books. Conspiracy theorists and their chicken scratch followers, should imbibe in a little truth.
No one seems to mention the House cut $243 million from the budget for protection of Embassy & Counsulate last year. House GOP Rep’s also voted again NOT to make Big Oil pay royalties on the oil and gas they take from Federal (us taxpayers) lands, and then vote against increasing VA funding as they can’t (?) find where to get the money from! Hope there is a Hell!
The Republicans aren’t looking for evidence that the state department screwed up (which is evident in the reports). They are looking for evidence of a cover up that never happened. Otherwise why would they reopen the investigation and raise money off of dead Americans?

No. Watergate was a scandal. Benghazi was a tragedy, but no scandal. If it were, some Republican would have found a piece of actual evidence by now.
