Speaking of a phone-in show with yelling people, I had to listen to a very loud talk show while riding 40+ miles to the Milwaukee airport in a limo. I asked the driver please to turn it down, and he did, maybe 100th of a decibel. One of the highlights of the show came when a man told how his daughter urged him to recycle some trash he was throwing out. He told her that if she said that again, he’d recycle a tree branch on her backside. Charming. I wrote the limo company about this, but didn’t name the driver – didn’t want to get him in trouble. I do hope they did something about this.
