Heheheh! That’s a great set of “eyes in the back of your head” [or, in your backpack]. It works, too–I experienced something more or less comparable once, and it was a great feeling!

I love how Lio doesn’t even seem to realize what his backpack did.

Someone/something’s got his back.

He’s lucky to have someone looking out for him.

I think that scared a good 20 pounds off that bully. He looks much skinnier in the final panel. And maybe he isn’t actually tip-toeing away but suffering the effects of a soiled pair of pants. My son will walk that way when he has had an accident (he’s 4), and then wonder how I knew.
