In my teens, I was going to be the World’s Greatest Expert on a certain ancestor – rather famous lady. I read a lot of books, but then decided she really wasn’t my cup of tea, after all. It took a while after that for me to finally give up. I didn’t discover her favourite horse was named “Mouse”, which is my nickname. I thought that was interesting – but not worth another book.
