What would you critics have? World war over the Ukraine? Where would Europe and the Ukraine go for natural gas if Russia suddenly turns off the taps? Policies have to reflect reality, not political partisanship.
newly discovered minor problem: the pentagon buys a lot of their military hardware from russia. turns out they make much better rocket engines that we use to launch our spy satellites. the ones we use to spy on russia.
