Actually, that’s three days straight that Annie has appeared in Gasoline Alley, while we’ve been looking for her in Dick Tracy. I believe that something is up with this that’s going to be a big surprise!
That “gun” is the flatware and straw wrapped up in a paper napkin. The second graders folded them before lunch. ~Chips were never part of our lunch in elementary school. It was considered an unhealthy snack. It still is, but now there are soda machines on campus. People don’t care so much anymore. The pickle is on top of the bun. Nice touch. ~Hi, Sandy! You are a nice Airedale, and I miss you and Annie.~Maybe Charlotte and Annie are friends, but Annie doesn’t seem to mind that Charlotte is going to be sitting by Boog.~Fred, Ted and Red, you are chicken. Bawka, Bawka, Baaarrrk!~There’s something powerful about Charlotte, and we are certain to find out what it is.

Here’s something else. The June 1 Gasoline Alley strip may (I say “may”) be giving us a hint that Los Aluxes might be involved somehow.
