Why is Gil greeting Jordy at home plate? Shouldn’t Gil be in the third base coaching box? That certainly appears to be the Goshen catcher in the right of panel 3.

Milford history, one year ago today: Jaxon the boy giant knocked over a Gummy Vite display leading to a career-ending broken wrist for pitcher Darby Kiser.

In Goshen the third baseman actually wears the catcher’s equipment, due to the inordinate number of screaming hit balls coming his way during a typical game. The Clowns have not had a real pitcher in 6 or 7 years. It’s the catcher who does not wearing any equipment because he is not in any danger because of how slowly the pitchers pitch.

From the looks of P1, it looks as though a shipment of real baseballs arrived sometime after the first pitch was thrown. I doubt that Jordy could have gone yard with the croquet balls they were using yesterday.

Come on guys, no one has commented on Don Stebbins “line drive” that is at least 10 feet off the ground, approximately 10 feet from the OF wall?

Poor Gil is getting confused in his old age. He appears to be wearing his football coaching jacket in May.

In all reality, does anyone know how the Milford shortstop got that terrible scar running down his face ?

Some days there just isn’t much to do with the MUT strip. Today is one.

    Mr. Reality: That’s not a scar. He’s a mime. That’s the white-face edge.

In a few days this will happen. In panel one he’ll get the perfect game. Panel two the team will celebrate like it’s the last game of the season (which we will then find out it is). Panel three new story arc begins and Lucky is out of here.

Played against both the Harper Creek (MI) Beavers and the Claremore (OK) Zebras in HS. Claremore had a red & white striped zebra (school colors) in the circle at half court.
