Lots of “confessions” have been gotten after Miranda warnings were given. They’ve even released some of those folks based on later DNA evidence that proved the confessions were false, just like the convictions.

Ignoring the Bill of Rights IS a suicide pact.

Again I have to ask: If you have someone who is willing to blow themselves up because of the crazy things they believe, what is there that you can do to get them to tell you what you want to know?

They believe that when they die they will go to their version of heaven, so dying doesn’t bother them. In fact it gets them to heaven faster.

The facts (and the long history of torcheing people) show that people will tell you anything to stop the torchure - except the truth.

It takes time and professionals to get good informtion out of someone who doesn’t want to give you information.

Loco, that’s kind of harsh, doncha think? No need to get personal in an ugly way.

I’m all for torchuring our enemies. A little torchering can go a long way. In fact , reading these posts is getting to be a torchure.
