Clark’s the one who’s really worried about getting embarrassed.

Well,, with the evidence from the first six murders obviously gone, and the horse HAVING killed Kolossal, all they can really do is discourage further killings with that M.O. However, not to worry, Venus will probably take care of the problem anyways in time…..

So Samuel L. Jackson is the special investigator, who’s the state attorney general, Vincent Vega?

Sam doesn’t embarass easily (except where a certain fed is concerned, but that’s another story) and when he’s on the job, he’s like a dog on a bone.

I love the “WHAT?” and the expression on his face in Panel 2. Despite all the posturing, he’s super-worried at this point — as well he should be!

Sam should tell Jeff, " YOU should check with the State’s Attorney’s Office and save YOURSELF from embarrassment!" PAL!

If Tracy was able to reassign cases the entire time, then why the drama? All he neded to do was to reassign Angus’ case BACK to his department and it would have been done.

and it ALSO doesnt seem that “The City’s Greatest Detective” is all that great.. otherwise the “Seven suspicious Deaths” that are all linked to Angus would have caught his attention a LOT sooner! According to his own words “Angus has been getting away with murder for years!”

then again, i guess those previous murders didnt “hit so close to home” as the last one did.. after all, frankenmindy was actually on the set when kollossal was killed, so fo course tracy would get involved in that…I guess the lesson learned here is “You can get away with murder for years as long as you dont do it anywhere near tracy, his friends or his (extended) family”

If they made a movie of this story who would best play the Investigator?

As long as Angus keeps killing off hoodlums, I say let the Mayor give him the key to the city. Saves on phenobarbital. (That’s what many states use for lethal injection nowadays.)

Seriously, Jeff? You’re trying to bluff Sam Catchem?! Sorry, old pal, it’s time for you to change your appearance and lose the shades and Fu Manchu and explore the charms of the Brazilian outback! —Or, go to prison as a lifer for being an accomplice to multiple murders. You’re not going to win this one, old pal!

Actually Burger had an excellent record of closing cases, the fact that most of those were thanks to Perry Mason dropping a lead pipe cinch conviction in his lap by finding out who was REALLY guilty notwithstanding.

In my mind, Jeff is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
