The last time I saw Larry Bird, he was on Space Jam.

What’s sad is this could be both of my kids & husband. I am the only one in the family with any sports knowledge. Growing up my family would guess who we thought would win the football games that Sunday. I usually had the most correct guesses. I had no clue about players stats or anything else germane. I just picked which team name I liked best :P

Don’t forget Larry Bird’s team mate… David Beckham.

I once had a guy actually bet me $50 that the Cowboys and Rams would meet in the Super Bowl that year. He was positive that, being a woman, I just didn’t understand the game, and he wasn’t even drunk.

Then there was the lady who won 3 of the 16 office pools one year, by picking the city that she thought was prettiest. Lucky for her the Giants and Jets were both strong that year, and it was before 9/11.
