@Montana; Ditto from me. Put a REAL EXPENSIVE price on it and somehow, it’ll disappear over-night.. I “lost” a lot of old TV sets that way!

My parents would clean out the garage and put the things they weren’t using in the basement. They would clean out the basement and put the things they wouldn’t use for some time in the attic. Then they would clean out the attic, and put stuff in the garage. Repeat until their house was foreclosed upon 2 years ago. Then it all went up in flames. Moral of the story for me was: don’t collect a bunch of junk that has no use, and stay away from 30-year mortgages. A lot can happen in 30 years.

My attic desperately needs cleaned and cleared out. I wonder if Val would come help me?

Frank Loyd Wright built houses (designed) that did not include a garage because (1) they are ugly and (2) cars are built and coated with protection from the weather, they do not need to be put inside. (although there are advantages to have them easily access and kept clean) Lawn mowers on the other hand disappear if left out in many neighborhoods.Small stuff needs to be locked down.

When cleaning out anything, I put stuff in 1 of 5 piles. Give away, throw away, recycle, sell or keep.
