This is why I prefer reading a book, to listening to an audio book. The characters in my imagination are more realistic than the audio voices.
A generational thing. Got a free e-reader, still haven’t used it, I like the feel of the written word.
If the story is well written and ‘grabs’ me, I don’t ever remember seeing the words, only the story in played out in my mind.
Never mind your reading matter, or the stuff you watch. None of that is as scary as someone expressing their ‘concern.’
