I’ve done repair on 200 year old Plaster walls with Horsehairs in the mix.

    BELIEVE me Wallboard IS DRYWALL.

(Aaargh, the drips, the bubbles that needed to be ‘worked out,’ getting the mix ‘just right’ so it would blend properly, I could go on and on.)

Lath and plaster was very WET when installed (I’ve done repairs on both MYSELF and watched installation of entire walls in both). I love a man who knows how to fix things (as my new one does even tho’ he’s not in the trades). He was a math teacher for most of his life.
