I had a friend whose husband didn’t like sour cream, although she put it into every batch of mashed potatoes she made. Except when he was in the kitchen, watching or helping, she had to omit it. He complained then that the potatoes didn’t taste as good as usual. What ya don’t know…

Hmmm? Sour cream in mashed potatoes? I’ll have to try that. It does make baked potatoes taste exquisite.

My youngest doesn’t like kidney beans, although they’re in a lot of soups and chills. After she has been eating them for years, I finally pointed it out to her. She now says, “I don’t like kidney beans unless they’re in soup or chili.” Glad she’s not too stubborn to admit it!

I used it too – Greek yogurt tastes as good and is healthier.

I also put pureed broccoli in my pasta sauce (about as much as tomatoes) because it’s healthier, thickens the sauce and does not change taste (tho’ color is more like gravy).

I have never liked peas and I do the cooking so no one’s sneaking them in. I will eat sugar snap peas but they must be really flat.
