Oh, NOW you tell ‘im! (It’s like moving the TV or any other piece of living room furniture from one place to another place and back to the original place.)

She probably told him earlier, but he did not listen to where she wanted the trees in the yard. Do not always blame the wife. Ask my Ex-BF – I drew him a map with what trees go where. He neglected to give it to the gardeners we hired. Good thing I came home early from work (he was unemployed at the time and was overseeing the work). We would have had a palm tree blocking our front window in three years and other tree roots invading our sewer system pipes in two years. One more reason he is an ex-BF. I did all the research on plants, flowers, hedges, growth patterns, and he was “Yeah, whatever, put it there.” Not to mention the chances of a fast-growing tree taking out the roof in a storm or hurricane.

I think Lynn made Elly look that flabby on purpose. I just noticed it with her attire and the way she presents herself in the comics. She looked better in the animated series no offense

Don’t let any non-gardener (male or female) near the garden.

This is not to be read as the “wife’s” fault. Lynn always writes them to be the “husband’s” fault.

I have a wonderful husband, last year we had a house built but moved in when it was to hot to plant the roses that wanted in the front beds of the house. This spring I bought all most all the roses we wanted (we still have about 11 to get) and I had them mapped out as to how the should planted. He went by the map and planted them all himself, he was sore for a few days but now says it well worth it they have been blooming and look so good (we have only 2 that repeat in color). Even though he will be sore again next spring even he can’t wait for the rest of the roses to be bought and to get them in. (Oh we all so have a lot of bulbs to plant this fall on both sides of the house, yes we love color and we still have a tree to find for the front yard)

I have found that ‘selective hearing’ on my part is what my wife claims when she doesn’t provide enough information for what she wants done(i.e., just like John), I received the ‘imperial edict’ to plant a shrub. No direction on where, just ‘plant the shrub’ so I planted where I thought it looked good. But, then and only then, do I get DETAILED information(at the top volume of her voice) as to precisely where she wanted it and I again say that the original instruction was, ‘Plant the shrub’ and she then went back to talking to her sister about our great nephew ! ! !

Not to mention it’s WAY to close to the house. In a few years it would be pushing out the foundation at the very least.

When told “on the right side of the front door” first find out whether it is right from the inside looking out or the curb looking at the house.

He was out of work. I was at work. That was part of the problem with the relationship overall, among other thing. Nope, I’m the better off one.
