For years I have remembered this quotation from Horace: “Quid rides? Mutato nomine, de te fabula narratur.” (Change the name, and the tale is told of you.) In the case of the Clintons it’s apt in several ways: The Clintons seem to be gluttons for politics. Their laundry is no cleaner than anybody else’s. And they are always teasing us with their political plans. And they are nauseating, in my opinion..Hillary’s a smart lady, but please – no more relatives elected to the presidency! Not another Kennedy, nor Bush, nor Clinton. Aren’t there suitable people able to be elected, instead? .This would be an example of political in-breeding and with so many families making politics their traditional business in lower offices, I fear this country is creeping toward hereditary nobility as regards the presidency, too.

Harry Reid’s and Barbara Boxer’s commentaries… Even Obama’s in the last few days were far more entertaining. And who can forget (even if we all wish we could) Joe Biden. Democrats make the stupid look smart.

George P. Bush, son of Jeb, just won his first Republican primary here in Texas (Land Commissioner).
