Would you show a picture of a room with no light and say “Where’s all my African American friends?” No because that would be racist and as we all know people take personal offence to that. Albinism is a genetic mutation in which one has no pigment and appears very pale and white. This comic is making fun both of a physical disability and a skin identity and can be seen as very hurtful hate crime. This is no different than making a racial slur about the color of someone’s skin.
I was wondering how many from the easily offended industry would jump in on this. Thanks, easily offended, for keeping it real and keeping it down today.
