I am personally thrilled that we have been treated to so many weeks of non-stop strips featuring Walt and Skeezix – even if it is only in flash back. Although I continue to hope that this journey down memory lane is NOT leading up to an announcement that Gasoline Alley is going to fold up its tent and join Brenda Starr and others in the land of Retired Comics. If Skeezix was 20 when World War II started – he would be past 90 by now!
