I have come to the conclusion that Poncho is a complete a$$. But why do I still love him?

I am not going to jump on the “cats vs. dogs bandwagon”! If we’re here reading the strip, then we must love animals in general (or most of us, anyway. RWJAMES and MayKitten’s grandfather : you’re excused! lol)

To me, the funniest thing about today’s strip is Chaz’s slowww reaction and Poncho’s quick, off-handed, dismissive response. That’s hilarious!!

Where I live, there is actually a city ordinance that limits people to 4 animals per household (dogs & cats combined). It’s not enforced much, generally just used as a tool for taking animals from neglect/hoarding situations, but I think people do start to look at you askance when you go over it…. (recently had a conversation about a mutual friend that ended with, “yeah, I think if she adopts one more dog, it’s intervention time!”)

Read something once about a bacteria in cat… refuse that in high enough concentrations cat affect the cognitive function of certain people which kind of makes sense of the crazy cat lady phenom

Hadn’t realized how many “cat people” follow Poncho but feel identified with Carmen, haha.I love cat and dogs the same. Fortunately, when I owned them both, they also liked each other (all crazy?… who cares? all happy!)

I want to be one of those people who have tons of pets and everyone knows it. I love animals.
