Burl’s generally an idiot, but this smacks to me more of attention-seeking than being too stupid to realise he doesn’t need a doctor to remove the bloody thing. Gotta draw attention to the fact that the poor baby had SURGERY. SURGERY!!! I had SURGERY!!! What a derp.

The conflict in my mind, however, is that it’s so gosh-darn difficult to overestimate his stupidity.
Just when you think he can’t be too stupid for something, he turns right around and shows that he can!
So let’s go into their bedroom…I know it’s scary….but we have to check the pillows and the mattress. If the “Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Law” tags are still attached….. and they probably will be…. we’ll threaten to cut one off.
If he panics, yells, or blubbers in fear, he probably also believes he has to wait for the doctor to remove his wristband.
What surprises me is that no one else has wondered/commented about the bubble above Jerry – Something he said or thought? A saying hung on the wall?just wondering . . .
