It’ll be the start of a whole new world of responsibility, bummer. :)

I think it’s nice that they can “think” to each other. Their bond is becoming very sweet. What a good big sister Maria is turning out to be.

Only one child here – adopted – so I was on the feed and clean detail from the git-go…. After the first full diaper, no problems…. Except that she didn’t care to stop getting into things long enough to be changed.

When mom had a colonostomy a few years before she passed, I was the backup to the care giver on bag changing. Not exactly fun, but the two young nurses who showed me how were a big plus.

I had an uncle with six kids. He never changed any of them. I’d sure like to know how he got out of it. I’d come home from work and my wife would hand me the kid, and head out to Lord knows where. Whatever the baby needed was my responsibility. Could have been worse. She’s 28 now. No interest in giving us grandkids.

Lily and Maria are a trip – this could get really interesting as Lily gets a bit bigger, and able to tag along. I have two younger sisters. The older one decided that she had to come with me to pre-school. That was kind of fun….
