Ripley's Believe It or Not! TORPEDOES AHEAD! The ancient Greeks and Romans used the electric shock of torpedo rays to treat headaches! Seagull wine is traditional Inuit liquor, made by fermenting a dead gull in a bottle of water. Hollywood star Christopher Walken's first job in show business was as a lion tamer.

And WHERE did the Romans and Greeks get torpedoes? As for the drink, it’s seems a little more weirder than a worm in tequila.

When I think of rays, I think of poisonous sea animals, stinging and poisoning their victims with their tails, not shocking them like these torpedo rays. The ancient Greeks and Romans must have distinguished between the different species of rays instead of fleeing from all of them.

Inuits must have cast-iron stomachs. They can also eat blubber without the consequences the rest of us would have.

I ran into one of the electric rays on a recent dive at Cozumel. The divemaster kept me away from it and later explained why.

I wonder if Walkens Lion tamer job influenced his dream sequence in the movie “Communion” where he wore a top hat and tails(and danced!)

Christopher Walken as a lion tamer. Why is this not surprising? Heck, it’s not even difficult to imagine!
