It’s not like they let you stay once they ‘own’ it, nor do they seem to care about the grass once they kick you out. Fines are only for actual homeowners, not for the Corporate kind.

:-) I paid off the mortgage the year I retired. My “yard” here in the US Southwest, is au natural, sand and cacti. I mow weeds once a year after warning the rabbits, snakes, field mice & lizards. It works for me and keeps the neighborhood Greenies happy. ;-)
