Wow. These two (who are usually at each other’s throats) are actually agreeing with one another.

I’ll donate all my “cool” adult stuff to them now – paying bills, long hours at work, housework etc.

That’s right – go for it before you’re grown up.

After you’re grown up you realize it’s you who’s driving and you who’s paying for it!

(or it would be if you were male.)

And when they get old enough for that – they’ll wonder where the time went and wish they were kids again!

Oh crud. Alex is becoming a teen. Gramma’s in for a rude awakening when she returns from South Africa.

The conflict will come when their idea of “going for it” will differ. Alix will want to hitchhike to Africa, and Holly will want to go clubbing.

The problem will arise when they come head to head, eye to eye with Val, who will ‘nip, this excursion into adulthood, in the bud’ ! !. Plus, Val’s got the car keys hidden, she saw this coming. Evie not here to divert it elsewhere ! !

I miss all the “cool stuff” I lost when I grew up.

Alix interested in boys! I can’t stand it. The horror.

Uh, girls, you may want to go shopping at the mall, But… you’re going to have to take the bus! ;)

Youth is wasted on the young.

They’ll go for it…until they realize that they’re the ones paying for everything.

Well, start studying more and get good grades, go to college/ tradeschool, get good job, earning YOUR way and then you too can pay to go anywhere you want to.

And don’t get addicted to the fancy coffee$ you will try in two days or it will take even longer to save money.
