My 5 cats and 1 dog are very happy just as they are thank you. It started as 1 dog and cat and then rescued 2 cats at a time from there. No more cats for us our family is just the right size.
I have two dogs and three cats. There is no comparison. Dogs are friends, cats are to murder the rabbits that otherwise eat my hollyhocks. They barely know I exist, while the dogs worship me. Being worshiped once in a while is kinda nice.
