Cubic: you might want to check on reports by foresters and other resource professionals have written that verify those predictions, here in the states, and around the world. Just one example is the destruction caused by bark beetles in eastern forests, because winters have been too warm, and it was GOOD news that this particular winter, temperatures have dropped enough to halt or slow reproduction, and insect related damage. There are a lot of “proofs” out there, in the biology, not the right-wing blather.

We expect, no DEMAND, security here in the states, watching privacy and freedom bled off, BY EXISTING LAWS that are merely being “applied”. Russia is suddenly, again, the bad guy because they apply security about the same as provided at Super Bowl cities? Munich changed the emphasis at the games from athletes to anxiety. It’s interesting how the actions of just one “terrorist”, like John Wilkes Booth, or a small group, can so strongly impact national interest, at least in our media.
