I just figured out that maybe she wants each of them to have a half day of cuddling, rather than her brother getting all the goodies all day. Maybe?

I think it’s that the babies have been treating this like being at work, and he’s getting to leave early, which she thinks is unfair.
For those who are confused, day cares take both full-day and half-day “students”. This is their home, not a day care, but the sister is reacting as she might if they were both at day care and only her brother were picked up.
