They should hope that Obama isn’t in that office to do the counselling and if he is they should demand a change…

“The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion” by Jonathan Haidt- and interesting read, and explanation of the subject. There are other books out there as well, but it does boil down to some folks act on intuition (and dogma) being “conservative”, and others rely more on logic, science and rationale being “Liberal” and there is a degree of hard wiring with even a genetic component, interesting stuff indeed.

The real problem of course is when propaganda, nationalism, or religion do cause folks to act irrationally, against their own best interests.

^yes, and indeed. Compressing a book to a paragraph isn’t a totality. And it IS the effort to find a way for “opposites” to communicate, and pursue progress, that is the important point.

We must need to find progress, not just nationally, but universally across other cultures as well!

I use my voting experience since helping re-elect IKE, plus my self-education on the Conservative principles and the Constitution (several copies and I have read it many times);logic and my Biblical education on the difference between “right” and “wrong”….Liberals use their intuition and myths that do not connect with real life or what the Constitution forbids the federal government to do.-I support the Tea Party grass roots independent movement.-Americans oppose Obama and his agenda and words and actions on Principle. He could be an Albino and we would still oppose his plan to bring Free Enterprise to an end and replace it with a Socialistic system.
