I recall a time when I was returning to work from lunch on ice-covered sidewalks in Montreal. It was hard trying to maintain my balance – especially with my (ahem) friends trying to drag me down with them

There was another time we were heading from one friend’s apartment to go to a party at another friend’s apartment. I nearly split my head open on the steps, but somehow managed to miraculously land feet-first at the foot of the steps.

A funny idea, but somehow not executed as well as it could have been.

We do an animal rescue and do adoptions weekly at Petsmart. There’s always someone that will bring in a JRT, Chiauhaha or other hyper little dog that comes in walking ten times faster on the floor than he can actually move on the leash. It’s hilarious to watch.

A bit slippery, eh?

Ironically, it was watching his dog running around on ice and not slipping that gave some guy the idea for deck shoes, with their zigzag sole pattern.
