Many cars today can actually parallel park themselves, and before long, you will just climb in your car, select your destination and pay zero attention to actually driving!
Wait! This is happening right now… a couple of weeks ago, a car started crossing over towards my lane on Hwy 169, so I hit the horn! The gal “driving” looked up from whatever she was looking at in her hands and gave my the dirtiest look; as if it was my fault!
This happened twice the same day; later while on 494 nearing the 35W crossing. Different driver and car, but the exact same thing happened. Fortunately on this stretch, I was able to move over one lane as this section of 494 is more than two lanes each direction…
@neverenoughgold: There are too many drivers distracted by the electronic devices that they should not use while driving. You are blessed indeed to have avoided two accidents. Be well, my friend.
My internet is down, and I have no idea when it will be fixed.It got ripped off of the pole and I’m at the mercy of the cable company.I’ll check in when I can, by the hot spot on my cell is kinda slow.
