This could be interesting if he’s referring to John Carter of Mars. After all Burroughs is the creator of both characters.

I bet she is going to lose the farm so Tarzan and Mangler jump in the ring as a tag team and win the money to save it.

Does anyone else realize that the great uncle in panel 2 is John Carter of Mars, Burroughs’ first great creation? Is a crossover in the works?

I don’t know whether this McCoy is on the up and up, but all I had to hear was ‘Mangler’ and I immediately thought of one of the most vicious and terrifying villains from Rip Kirby, and perhaps in all comics. Not that I’m anywhere near to being acquainted with ‘all,’ but The Mangler from RK is one of the scariest fictional bad guys by any standard.
