Buni's dad smells something while in the living room. He see's Buni grabbing gingerbread cookies from the oven. He sneaks in and Buni finds him in the living room with a necklace of gingerbread skulls.

Maybe they aren’t zombie cookies. Maybe they’re the heads of the gingerbread men that Dadi ate, but because of his ciggie, they’ve become skulls instead of heads…

Skull necklace? Cannibalism Dadi? Those are Gingerbread men who did not Run Run As Fast As You Can…gosh, I read that book to my kids over and over!!!!
