Actually he stole the lightbulb from a chap called Joseph Swan. He stole electricity from Tesla, after proving how dangerous it was by electrocuting an elephant with it.

Ahh…good ol’ Nicoli Tesla. My favorite mad scientist of all time. Actually blew out the generator at Niagra Falls with one of his experiments. Gotta love ’im.

Yeah, I wish people knew more about Tesla….Interesting guy. He should be the one who is famous…Edison’s DC current was impractical…

I built one of Tesla’s turbines. Very interesting design.

I much enjoy your comic and would like to offer a hopefully helpful critique…….The lettering is very nice, but when viewed on a computer screen or small device the lettering itself can “get fuzzy”…really I am trying to be helpful….like when I look at the local paper’s screen shot of the online comics page, I have to zoom your comic up a lot more than the rest of them to easily read it…….So what I am saying is that maybe you should consider changing the font of the dialogue to something that shows up better on electronic devices…..Most excellent work Mr. Conley

Edison was far more “savvy” than Tesla. Tesla had the better imagination. Edison was goofy. Visit the Edison museum in Florida, someday. It’s an interesting place. Last I knew the (or one of) the first lightbulbs is still burning. So, why doesn’t that happen with those built today? Let’s not wait for an answer from the lightbulb manufactures, shall we?

Edison talked New York into using AC for electrocutions to demonstrate how “dangerous” it was. He was fighting a losing battle, as more efficient AC power distribution was beginning to supplant Edison-backed DC power in the homes.

Now funding a dead cat powered robot is a different story. I mean they sleep all the time when they are alive. There was to be some sort of energy stored up in a dead cat.
