ODOT and WISDOT are telling us not to go on the roads or freeways and all the Max trains and busses are stopped. Everything is closed tomorrow including most of the churches. Its a good thing I went to the grocery Friday.
Meanwhile…. yeah, he got 10 cans of Slimfast because he drank one can, right before he ate his Big Mac and fries, and the next morning his pants were still tight.
He called 10 different times to complain, and each time, someone explained…. and explained…and finally sent another can, just to get rid of him.
The 11th time, the computer had caught up…. “I’m sorry sir, my records show that a replacement can was mailed to your address… etc..”
Now they’re trying the same trick with Del Monte….too bad the SlimFast rep’s sister-in-law works the same job at Del Monte…
I’ve re-colored people’s hair after disastrous home color jobs….trying to get drug store color out of already damaged hair is delicate work…. and at least twice as expensive as having me do it right the first time.
They do just what Verl did…. if 20 minutes is good, 40 must be TWICE as good….If it says mix in the bottle of developer, they use half so they can “save” some.
They call me from the grocery store to ask what color Clairol they should buy…. and get miffed when I say I have no idea, cos I only use a couple of brands of salon color.So they ask me to pick them up some professionals-only salon color….wholesale yet… and get miffed when I say I could lose my license for that…and anyway you have to mix it… professionally.
No problem for Joy. Her colorist is Sherwin Williams…. gallon cans are the only way she can get enough to cover her whole head.
Hay Susan!! Her hair looks shorter than I would think , She should know it will come out in a few weeks, depending how fast her hair grows. What is her usual brand? Dollar Dump blond? Yea those cheap colors from China are really good.
I colored my hair twice and I like the naturally grey.
Burl you have to actually drink the Slim Fast at least 6 times a day and not eat anything for it to work. But you would not get that far on the directions.
My SIL accidentally bought two boxes of purple dye instead of her usual black. She discovered this after she dyed her hair purple. She gave the remaining box to my 11 year old.
Notice that the “friends” key rack is rather devoid of keys. Like Lucy said to Charlie Brown once in the ’ol psychiatry booth: “Get some friends. Five cents, please!”

Since we have agreed to be exclusive (and that’s all I cared about) He makes me very happy and we have lots of plans now in both our circles and both our homes ;-D
When I used to lighten my hair, whether a colorist or I did it, my Irish hair required a little extra time in lightening because the brown tones masked the red when it was darker. It generally took two stages to reach a warm platinum that I like and now have naturally.

Right. It turns her hair the wrong colour, so she should try to get a free box of it and do it all over again.

Actually I was going to return last night but due to the heavy rain, the power was out in my neighborhood all night and most of today….
