Yep, I’ve heard that 48 hour rule before…

I’ll bet Burl would make them call in 48 hrs before they died, too. Sir! Request permission to croak, SIR!

I wouldn’t touch Burls Jockeys with a ten foot pole, let alone an iron. (I’d have to throw away the iron afterwards)

Well, if he can SAY he has laryngitis…

I mean, how bad can it be?

And he doesn’t have to try and impress us with that double pneumonia business….ONE pneumonia would have sounded more believable.

So yeah, get on in to work…. pass those germs around so we can all have a chance to SAY we’re sick….

Joy is making TWO entrees for breakfast? Wow, that woman works hard.I’m surprised she has the energy to answer the phone. No heavy conversations, though.

And all the while, she’s also been working on a new way to make pineapple upside-down cake. Pineapple right-side up cake?? Wow.Does that massive brain never stop??

Gee I wish someone would make donuts and cereal for my breakfast.. Maybe she could make a sideway pineapple cake? She can get so creative with that inverting thing she does.

I usually hold my peace when Burl says something goofy. But today, he succeeded in making me a little angry, even if he is only stating company policy.

Well anyway, the ironing would kill all those fleas!! Snark! SNARK!!

We’ll never have to remind Burl that boss spelled backward is double sob.

Can you call in 48 hours in advance and say you are sick of Burl? How much of that starched shorts guy can anyone take.
