Cement? Seriously? It’s concrete. Cement comes in a bag.

Okay, I’m confused now. Reading the comments it seems like I’m not seeing all the postings. Or maybe I am and not realizing it.

Cement is a powder but add some aggregate (like little rocks) and it becomes concrete which is what you drive on. Cement can still harden but isn’t as strong. It can be thick like a milk shake so Tracy could still get through it but be totally coated in it. He should have held his gun high (like the cowboys when crossing rivers). Bring on the cavalry!

I’m betting on Kadaver being the one on the wrist TV. There seems to be a mist blowing behind him which might make the cement set faster on Tracy too :o

Kadaver likes to throw down smoke bombs as part of his dramatic disappearing acts. Maybe that’s what the mist is that we see in panel 3.

I really enjoy a cliffhanger mystery at the end of a Sunday strip, and this is a good one.So, if it’s Rikki how did Sam recognize her? And if it’s the Mole or Fritz Ann, do they have access to a wrist wizard? I think I’ll choose the Abner keeping his word and letting Tracy go if he made it through the 3 doors theory.

Also the Crimestopper’s Textbook was very interesting, I never knew that about Lincoln, I’m fascinated. Just another irony about the Lincoln assassination.

“Are the boys rushing this one ?”It’s a fair question. I don’t think Tracy’s progress through the death traps is rushed. If we had several days of Tracy swimming through the vat there would undoubtedly be someone saying the pace was too slow. We know that Tracy will not die in a death trap, as this would end the strip, so it strikes me as a good call to keep the pace brisk. The multiple-traps that draw on classic horror are good fun from Team Tracy, imo.Since no one else has mentioned it, I’ll say that Lizz is looking especially fetching today. Good to see her and Sam working to find Tracy. And thanks to JPuzzleWhiz, mzkdad and gweedo for the kind words. Much appreciated.
