Forget Snowden, forget Manning, forget the mad hackers getting into government files. The real trouble would be caused by corrupting Spell Check and Grammatik into making weird and offensive word substitutions in business, government, and even personal communications.
Being a bad speller is not the same thing as being illiterate. What gets me are the billboards that say things like “ILLITERATE? CALL (800) 555-STFU.” If you’re illiterate, how are you supposed to read that billboard?
