Far better than dropping bombs on them, but diplomacy doesn’t profit the MIC, so the outcry is lusty and loud. Plus, let’s attack a nation of 65 million people who MAY someday have nukes, instead of sanctioning the nation of 6.5 million that HAS nukes, and keeps threatening to bomb their neighbor, or get us to do it for them.
Out of Iraq, still need to get out of Afghanistan, rather than keeping bases there to control the region from, Syria giving up weapons facilities, North Africa still in turmoil, but we’re not in the middle of it with troops, DOW is at record highs, PRIVATE employment IS up, unemployment IS down (using same criteria as Reagan/Bush/Bush), housing sales up, car sales up, and health care still being held hostage by overt and covert war carried on by the right, but the drumbeat for war won’t stop for them. So, who’s nuts?
Let’s see, Israel thinks it was a bad deal. That’s a natural reaction. But Saudi Arabia thinks its a bad deal too. Since when did the Saudis and Israelis ever agree on anything?
