U.S. Combat troops will remain in Afghanistan until at least 2024. Soldier: I signed up after 9/11. Hard to believe I've been here 13 years. 2022: That's my Dad. He signed up after 9/11. After he got killed, I enlisted hard to believe I've been here 9 years. 2023: My mom here enlisted to avenge her dad. Got killed, send me to Afghanistan or they will have died for nothing. 2024: Man 1: Please tell me you haven't reproduced yet. Man 2: Have you heard of cloning?

Aside the fact Karzai, as usual, is being a dweeb, ‘cause Condi hasn’t got him paid off yet?, it’s to give us the OPPORTUNITY to retain troops and BASES, if we WISH, until 2024, not a settled fact of keeping combat troops that long. BUT, best to get out of Afghanistan, even if a permanent base to “control” the region WAS the original plan when “W” set Karzai up to begin with.

I say we empty our prisons and send the inmates there! It’d be an improvement over the locals. At least our felons know how to speak english and what indoor plumbing is!

Australia turned out pretty good… And, it’d be better than dealing with the bunch that’s there now…
