Our litte Tonkinese post-kitten (adolescent?) spent about five minutes last night making a nest between the back of my knees and butt while I was going to sleep. Very relaxing! Especially all the purring that went with it.
Reminds of me my cat Jetta. It was like she KNEW when I was down and would come up to me and just stare into my eyes and I had no choice but to rub her. LOL! Worked every time!

Tiring for whom? Just lie down, look cute, and let yourself be petted? Wish so much else was that ‘tiring’!
