yup, good strip, I know this is true. I’m white… I do think about it sometimes, and the only way I’ve figured to put african americans at ease here in white-opia is to be friendly. Y’know, be a person and treat them like another person. This is way, way easier than everything black men have to do.
I don’t care what your color is. If you come too close behind me at an ATM, I’ll get nervous. I’ve had to tell two white guys to back off when I was making a purchase using my card. Both were close enough to have seen the PIN as I punched it in. Mt attitudes is if you’re at a reasonable distance from me, I don’t care. Come up close enough to be staring over my shoulder and I’ll deck ya.
