The supercomputer, Deep Thought, was specially built to answer “what is the meaning of Life, the universe and everything.” It takes Deep Thought 7½ million years to compute and check the answer, which turns out to be 42. I’ve sais this before, but the 42 was a reference to the baseball player Jackie Robinson’s jersey number indicating we all just need to get along and have peace in the universe …
