The Republican war on the poor continues. And they have the gall to claim to be Christians. As Biden says, “Don’t tell me your priorities: show me your budget, and I’ll tell you your priorities.” Low taxes on the rich are all they’ve got to offer, and they have no actual desire to feed the poor, create jobs, educate the young, lower taxes on the middle class, or even lower the national debt if it interferes with priority number one.

Good, I’ll quit my job, buy a new Cadillac, big house in the burbs, takes long trips etc and have big cash to spare…where do I sign up for that?

Oops, must have confused the Loaves and Fishes story from the Bible with Welfare.

To make it easier to give to the 1%.

Remember the little boy and his brother, last donut and they have to share. The little boy is called on to split the donut, and much to his surprise and chagrin, his brother is called on to take the first piece. The little boy cut it very unevenly. The 1% haven’t had that lesson, have elected officials to cut the donut and distribute the pieces, and probably took the first 11 donuts already.

May you be totally self-reliant the rest of your life, and never find out what it is like to need help from another human being.
