Fell asleep, huh? They probably thought it was a dance video. Lots of movement but not much plot.I’ll bet that Joy could—and has—fall asleep during….Burl’s so masterful, y’know.

Yeah, like they have any concept of what it is. I guess their idea of action/adventure is Sweatin’ to the Oldies. Too much action, though…

Trying to figure out what they could have possibly misheard…

Joy has a book called “Tying a Bow”…. well, it’s really “The Idiots Guide to Tying a Bow,” but she blacked out the first line with a big marker so no one in her Crafty Seniors class at Michael’s would see it.

And about 5 months ago, they tried the lunch special at that new place, the Thai Bowl….but they never went back, cos the chef was obviously an amateur…ALL the sauces needed more ketchup, and anyway they prefer to see a hunk of real meat on their plates.

But neither of those is a movie … so what the heck did they watch?

They’ve seen everything, so sometimes it’s hard to remember.

Burl played shoe horn in a cigar band but he couldn’t tuna fish.

The Pennys and Darwins are on the Atkins diet.

I’m sure I don’t have to spell it out :)

Perhaps posters who aren’t acquainted with Dry would be motivated to write powerful people if someone regaled the forum with her annals and lore.

Tae Bo? I thought that the fad went out of style several years ago. Oh, I forgot. Maybe they found the video in the cheap bin because the store bought too many at the height of his popularity. lol

Does anyone know what channel “America’s Funniest Disasters” is on, sounds like a program I might enjoy. Or is that just a reality show based in Crustwood?

Tae Bo Diddley! WAIT, no………that guy was fast on his feet even as a “veteran” performer, plus he left the building a while back. But not while sittin’ on his butt……..

I hardly ever post here, but faithfully read all the comments every day. I feel like I know everyone and want to thank you all for making my morning coffee and comics so much fun.Can anyone tell me why Dry is banned from the site? nobody’s comments have ever seemed ban-worthy, so I’m wondering what the criteria is.

I guess eye movement and elbow bending is exercise for these movement challenged individuals. They wouldn’t rent it again because they figured out the plot.

    B. A….

You’ve asked that before… but what annals and lore do we have, of Dry or of any of our fellow posters?

Tha only lore I have is that she is a person with whom I interact on the forums, who makes funny and/or friendly comments, and who seems to have been unfairly bounced.

Her annals, having been (hopefully temporarily) expunged in this ban, and, like almost all comments on the site, not inscribed in my memory, are somewhat lost till they reappear…which is what we’re working on.
