I wonder if I’m the first person in the world to use the word ‘penniaire’ I wonder if I could even be qualified to call myself a penniaire..I’m not all that great at math, so I can’t even figure out how much that would be.

Can’t recall the name offhand, but back in the 30s there was a company that made coils for the early radios. (Clippard?)To wind them efficiently required small air cylinders to control the winding machines. However, only large versions were available, so they made their own. Then, as miniaturation gained momentum, other companies turned to them to supply miniature air cyclinders.Before long, they were getting more orders for cylinders than coils!So, they said the heck with coils, and today they are a major mfr. of air cylinders!
