Check out the “checkpoint” situation in the West Bank and Gaza as well as Likud/right-wing continue to persecute and humiliate the rightful occupants of the former Palestine, who’ve been persecuted every bit as vehemently as the Jews in Poland under “that regime”. (Oh, right, they’ve just lost all they owned, and not gas chambers yet, just prisons and bullets.
P.S. As Netanyahu spoke, couldn’t get the U.S. S. Liberty out of my mind, or the fact that all the truly secret plutonium plants in the Middle East are in ISRAEL, the only NUCLEAR ARMED STATE in the region.
While omnius can indeed be quite annoying and extreme in the liberal direction, he is outnumbered by at least five to one (and maybe even more) by the equally annoying and extreme ultra conservatives on this site. The only truly endangered species here are the moderate thinking liberals and conservatives, and that is our sad loss!!
