Kal, the logic the R’s clearly present is that if they kill all the poor there will be no more “gap”. Problem solved.

No one is really saying that hard working people should not be well paid, or that creative people not be adequately compensated. But yet it is possible to overshoot the mark and the rich will get richer simply because they are rich, they have the power and they have the control. That is where America is at with its huge income disparity, and it only leads to social unrest and economic underachievement (or failure)..Strange this happens in America where the nation was founded in a rebellion against a disparity in rights and privileges.

Are we not possibly talking semantics? No doubt escaping tyranny was an issue and that whole thing about taxation without representation was a sore point. But so also was rejecting the social order of aristocracies that dominated Europe at the time and rule by divine right. What that social order created, of course, was extreme disparity in rights and wealth, which America rightfully rejected in favour of democratically elected representative government responsible to the will of the people. .My point remains that America is in danger of falling back into those very things they fought against in the American Revolution. .Many of your bumper sticker comments make that very point. Your every post seems to reject the democratic will of the people if the results do not favour your so-called conservative outlook. You are not alone. There seems to be a large contingent prepared to reject the democratic will of the people in favour of anarchy, if that is what is required to achieve power.

When challenged on your repetitive one-thought talking points, your level of intellect seems very shallow.
