Wally: Isn't that your phone?
Joan: I'm ignoring it.
Wally: What if it's the kids?
Wally: What if it's an EMERGENCY??
Joan: If this is an emergency, hang up and dial 911.
Phone: ?
Phone: Can we play video games?
Joan: It's for you.
With each new job I took, I had to break in the kids anew so that they would NOT call me at work if they had a disagreement about the remote, what they could eat or anything. Weekdays were just for a bit, but when I had to go in on weekends (and that happened) they needed extra training. Any project of mine that involved shutting down either of Zenith’s 2 main computer rooms HAD to be done on weekend (there were whole set-ups one for payroll and corporate stuff, the other for design).

That would be what my kids would do! But, hey, at least they are asking permission, not telling on each other!

Amazing that they asked. The grandkids’ll get up in the dark so they can have at it.

Wouldn’t Joan and Wally have said something about the video games before they left?
